It is hoped that everything will be in place by Wednesday to allow wages and loans which were provided by the Professional Footballers Association to be fully repaid, as well as money due to Revenue & Customs. It’s not easy being a lower division club in Greater Manchester, but hopefully the club will now be able to start to prepare for next season.

Bury released 16 players earlier this week, having sold captain Steven Schumacher to Fleetwood Town, and presently have only eight players contracted to the club for next season.
