The Financial Times did a mock up of a traditional football comic to accompany an article on the situation at Manchester United.  It included the strapline 'Seeing red: green and yellow scarf offer for every reader.'   As one would expect from the Pink 'Un the analysis itself was very thorough.


One of the key points made was that it was worth the Glazers withstanding any long-term pressure because the long-term financial prospects for the club were bright.  Football is a product with global appeal and as the internet and digital media develop new streams of revenue should become available.
