Table of English Football League Average Attendances by Division from season 1994/95 to 2009/10, from the Political Economy of Football. Premier League attendances increased in this period by over 45 per cent, second-tier attendances by approx 65 per cent, third-tier by 25 per cent and fourth-tier by 25 per cent.

Overall, spectator numbers for the four divisions rose by 47 per cent but appear to have tapered off very slightly in last couple of years.
