We are getting reports from local sources that the club is still exploring the possibility of a ground share.  The issue here is the cost of the lease on the ground which is separately owned from the club.   Of course, the consortium could try to acquire the ground as well, but there is a view that the current owners may wish to realise its development potential.

Charlton, Gillingham and Millwall in the frame as possible locations.  Gillingham might be too far for Palace supporters and there could be planning problems at Charlton.   The New Den is not the most slaubrious venue.   It may well be that the consortium is just raising this possibility as a ploy to get some leverage on the owners of the ground.
