6th year of profit for Hibs

Although they made a profit of only £100,000, and made an operating loss of £2.3m, Hibernian have recorded their sixth consecutive year of profits.   That's a remarkable achievement in the contemporary world of football finance.

The difference between the two figures is largely explained by transfer fees and sell-on clauses.  Turnover dropped by 8 per cent with contributory factors being the closure of the East Terraces from February and a reduction in season ticket prices to 2007 levels.

With the re-development of the stadium completed, Hibs now have the largest UEFA compliant stadium in Scotland outside Glasgow.
