Leicester Deal Is Sealed - 13/02/2007

The much delayed takeover of Championship side Leicester City has at last been completed with former Portsmouth owner Milan Mandaric acquiring the club. Mandaric would not reveal how much he paid for the Foxes, but a figure of £25m has been mooted. Leicester FC have been through some troubled times since the move to the Walkers Stadium, including a period in administration, but Mandaric has declared his ambition of seeing them back in the Premiership within three years.
