Spurs have entered the big league of football shirt sponsorship deals with a four year contract worth at least £34m with Mansion, a gaming and entertainment group based in Gibraltar. This ranks Spurs third in the Premiership by annual value of shirt deals, behind only Manchester United and Chelsea and ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool. The Spurs deal is one of a series that will send the total value of Premiership shirt sponsorships to £70m a year from next season, up 25 per cent from just over £55m in the season just ended. The new deal should help Mansion to get over their disappointment at failing to land the Manchester United deal. Mansion and Spurs are to create a co-branded internet gaming site, while Mansion's Asian contacts may help Spurs to raise its profile there.
