Arsenal have announced that it will cost £94 to watch Category A matches against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United from the best seats at the Emirates Stadium. Chelsea charge £60 for their best seats while Manchester United charge £39. North London rivals Spurs are the next most expensive after Arsenal, charging £71, while West Ham charge £57. The cheapest club is Portsmouth (£30) although it does have what is probably the worst stadium in the Premiership. In relation to the Arsenal prices, Tony Madden, co-editor of fanzine Highbury High commented, 'These prices are incredibly expensive. The club seems to be turning its back on its roots. Arsenal are relying on fans just moabing and then handing over the money. It costs an absolute fortune for an ordinary working-class bloke to take his kids along to a game.'
