Luton Town in Administration - 15/07/03

Luton Town are the latest club to go into administration with their manager John Gurney losing control. Luton fans have been boycotting the renewal of season tickets for six weeks in protest at the way Gurney, who sacked Joe Kinnear when he took over as manager in May, has been running the club. The club is heavily in debt and its affairs were already under the scrutiny of the Football League.
